A nice big microwave oven/oven combo was the third appliance I bought when I moved to Tokyo. I don’t function well if I don’t have access to fresh-baked challah, which I had no intention of baking in a toaster oven.
This most likely explains why I’m a bit late to the world of rice cooker baking.
Whaddaya know, my rice cooker has buttons for making bread and yoghurt! I just now discovered this.
Scootch over to the Wide Island View and check out this nifty-looking recipe for rice cooker banana bread!
I’d make it, too, but I still have loads of brown rice in my rice cooker….

Whaddaya know! Worth Kindling?
