When not to send your child to class

Yes, yes, we all want our children to be in class as much as possible, and yay if they keep their sick-a-thons to weekends and family vacation times. That’s what I used to do.

The flu is plowing through the crowds of students here, and many schools have cancelled classes for entire grades due to high absenteeism.

Parents and Teachers, what are your rules on when not to send a sick child to class?
