I’ve learned you can’t hold a blueberry muffin in one hand and, at the same time, fingerspell in British Sign Language.

Please put down your muffin and take a look at the following chart (right-handed? look here!).

See? No hands free for muffins!

Each finger represents a vowel (a e i o u). With 2 hands, you form “shapes” that mostly closely resemble the upper case letter.

Sensible, I say.
