Shh, be quiet….

Remember that ears belonging to little ones are usually much more sensitive to loud noises than ears belonging to big ones.

As a toddler, I didn’t like powwows or summer fireworks. Thunderstorms made me miserable.  As a teenager, though, my favorite bands sounded much much better at high volumes, and my hearing hasn’t been the same since.

Watch your little ones when you play music or make loud noise. The volume might be just right for you, but if your little Goldilocks has her hands tightly covering her ears, that means the music is too loud.

Turn it down.
