We can type upside down now? Yay, we can!

Hi, my name is E. W. Spider!

This is how I would write to you if you were sitting across from me:

¡ɹǝpıdS ˙M˙Ǝ sı ǝɯɐu ʎɯ ‘ıH

Or I can type backwards:

!redipS .W.E si eman ym ,iH

Or…well now what is this? If the letters were standing upright and then you just pushed them forward. What’s that called?

Hı’ ɯʎ uɐɯǝ ıs Ǝ˙M˙ Sdıpǝɹ¡

Mirror text is still my favorite (read backwards text in a mirror), but I don’t think that option is available here.

Scoot your happy typing fingers over to Upside Down Text and play around with the options. Then step away from the computer: take out your favorite pencils and writing pape and write an upside down note to your best friend or your dad or your mom!

Huge thanks, Troy!

Hey, Teachers: try this nifty Leonardo da Vinci backwards writing exercise (more and more).

Hey, Word Nerds, do you know what the origin of upside down is? I did not know that!
