Edible poinsettia leaves?

The Japanese emperor’s birthday is December 23. Would it be anti-imperial to eat chrysanthemum leaves in his honor?

Someone came here looking for  a chrysanthemum recipe, but I misread that this person was looking for a poinsettia leaf recipe. Poinsettia leaves aren’t edible, right?

Poinsettia leaves: not edible. They can be rather irritating but they’re not poisonous.

Unless…you make chocolate poinsettia leaves, in which case they’re perfectly edible and they would make a perfect gift for me (hint hint).

No lemon leaves? Go find your friendly local nursery…!
