Buddha’s Birthday in 3D

Today, May 10, is Buddha’s 2,500th birthday.

Clearly a need to celebrate!

As part of the festivities in South Korea, 12 children (all boys?) had their heads shaved, and they will spend the next month living the monk life.

Which now includes smart phones, 3D glasses, and a field trip to SK Telecom Ubiquitous Museum in Seoul (*love* that name!).

I don’t know how somber or exuberant these festivities will be, but oh man you know those kids are just gonna steal the show.

Photos and information are from here and here. (Heads up: I may have to take them down. Not sure.)
