In high school, we decorated lockers for birthdays, filling the locker with presents and candy.
What’s that you’re saying? This year you’re going to fill all my windows with a whole bunch of balloons for my birthday party?
Well, yes, please, if you insist.

Is it your birthday!?
Oh no…not til October 22! See, I’d originally written this with the title “Happy half birthday to me!”. Then I recounted and realized I had the right day but the wrong month. Erase, scribble, cross-out, re-write……
And so I present yet another delightful example of why I teach English, not math.
