Wands! You need paper, paint and lotsa hot glue sticks

Paper and young learners: happy combination.

Paint and young learners: happy combination.

Hot glue guns and glue sticks and young learners: erm, not so much of a happy combination.

Have you seen Your Life Uncommon’s Harry Potter wands?

I’m going to hope my young learners aren’t Harry Potter fans anyway, because these young learners should already have plenty of imagination to keep them busy.

Let’s look to the older siblings when it’s wand-making time.

Not very into Harry Potter but very into waving pointy sticks? Switch the paint colors more to your liking and decorate until each wand is how you want it. Make ’em yours (and let YLU know what you did!)!

[Love the idea! Now just where did I first find it??]
